The pink pepper tree is the labour of love of Jacqueline Rozenhart and Glynn Jones.
Why the name “The pink pepper tree”?
Jacqueline “We wanted a name that you would easily remember. We tried many Spanish names but nothing felt right, suddenly we thought about the pink pepper tree at the swimming pool in our first location. It is a beautiful big tree, giving shade and protection. The pink berries add a surprising bite to dishes. I like the colour pink and cooking and Glynn loves trees. The pink pepper tree was born, something a bit crazy, surprising and sweet but it suits us."
The creative couple has designed and run the the pink pepper tree hotel for 8 years.
Now they continue to welcome people on their creative and delicious experiences through private catering, dining and wine tasting.
Jacqueline, from The Netherlands, makes the most vibrant and colourful menus with her true passion for food. She also is an interior designer and artist working with light, woven textiles and soft finishes.
Glynn, from South Africa invites people to discover the world of Mallorcan and Spanish wines. He created the hotel’s fruit orchard and makes furniture and art objects with recycled wood.
